Following the international festivals and screenings in the three countries where the film was shot, it became clear after its cinema release that the most effective approach was to screen the film as part of individual events followed by post-screening discussions or panel debates. Interest is particularly high in Germany, as there are people in almost every town who wish to engage deeply with the Nazi past and/or the Shoah and who give the subject a great deal of thought. There are numerous initiatives, groups and organisations dedicated to these topics.
Many of them went on to organise screenings of the film. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all. Thanks to their determined commitment, numerous encounters were made possible.
