The Rhine flows to the Mediterranean Sea

In the summer term of 2024, the film *The Rhine Flows into the Mediterranean* formed part of the seminar *Topics in Jewish Ethics in the Modern Era*, led by Dr Silvia Richter at Goethe University Frankfurt.

Laura Ross, a philosophy student and seminar participant, decided to write her term paper on the film. Thanks to her kind permission, the paper is available here as a PDF document.

School screening at the Capitol Theatre in Bad Tölz

 

As part of an event organised by Bettina Brunner, the film was screened at the Capitol Theatre for the Gabriel-von-Seidl-Gymnasium in Bad Tölz. This was the film’s first school screening.

The event was organised in such a way that the pupils were actively involved. Young students took responsibility for both moderating the event and operating the sound equipment.

Interview

The interview took place in April 2023 as part of the Goethe-Institut’s support for the film’s cinema release, under the direction of Dr Carola Dürr.

It accompanied a special screening to mark Shoah Remembrance Day, which took place in collaboration with the Tel Aviv Cinematheque.
